"Our goal is to make bags that not only address everyday carry needs, but also enhance the way we train, explore, and push ourselves to the limit. We believe in packing for greatness with gear that is as tough as you are, and can withstand even your toughest workouts.
Each King Kong bag is made with the most durable materials and construction techniques to ensure it can stand the test of time. Every element, from compartments and zippers to pockets and buckles, is tested for durability and efficiency, so you can trust that you are prepared to handle any challenge."
Backpack is perfect for gym. Packs all essentials needed. Large side pockets for water bottles. Outside shoe compartment is a must for the gym. Couple minor things. Not a deal breaker. Wish bag had some type of lanyard for keys in one of the zippered pockets. One side of shoe compartment zipper does not zip down all the way. Makes the opening on side smaller. Again not a deal breaker but at almost $200 for a backpack quality should be better.
This bag is awesome and is perfect if you go to the gym while going to/from work. This bag is especially great if you wear Hokas. My Hoka running shoes which I use for the gym are bulky and would take up so much space in my regular bookbag, but with this backpack and the outside shoe compartment (where my Hokas fit nice and snug), I now have nice ample space inside my bag to fit a bunch of other things. The bag is bulky, but its so comfortable. I use it on the subway and walking here in NYC. The side pockets are nice for an umbrella and my protein shake and/or water bottle. The little pockets are great for my gym lock, sunglasses, hand sanitizer, AirTag and deodorant. The last inside pocket works great with my work laptop. I love this bag and I highly recommended it. Life changer.
It felt like this bag was designed based on what I specifically wanted out of a gym bag and I've been very content with it ever since.
I was second-guessing the purchase when it showed up, and even emailed about returning it. Did I really need yet another backpack? Then I decided to load up my office and gym gear--laptop, hard drives, cables and chargers, water and protein powder bottles, shoes, clothes. I put it on and my buyer's remorse evaporated. It's the perfect bag: sturdy, roomy, comfortable with numerous pockets and access perfectly designed. Now, all I'm thinking about is what duplicate supplies--cables, power, glasses--do I leave in the bag all of the time so I'm just grabbing fresh water, clothes and my laptop on my way out the door.
Very good, this bag was recommended to me by my son and his partner, both have these bags for years and use the for travel.
